Direct Billing – Ask us How?

The Orthopaedic Therapy Clinic is now part of the TELUS, Provider Connect and Blue Cross direct billing service. This enhanced process allows us to bill many insurance companies and get an immediate response on your Extended Health Benefit coverage. If your coverage is with any of the following Extended Health Benefits Insurance companies, we can check to see if we can bill your plan directly:

Auto Insurance

We are in good standing with FSCO and HCAI and are registered to bill directly. Please note that you are required to access your Extended Health Benefits prior to accessing your MVA benefits. For more information click on this link


The Orthopaedic Therapy Clinic is registered to provide WSIB services and is able to bill directly for this. Please note that if you have an active claim you should not submit to your EHB insurer.

If your insurer is not on the list

If you don’t see your insurer on the list, ask them if they allow direct billing and let us know who to contact to get this set-up for you.

Physician referral

Some insurers require a physician’s referral to access your benefits. If this is needed we will require a copy of the referral prior to setting up direct billing.

Direct Billing vs. Direct Payments

Some insurers will allow direct billing however will only pay the insured. This means that we can bill for you however they will not directly pay us.

As we are unable to determine your coverage fully in advance we require a credit card to be kept on file for direct payment. If you do not want to provide a credit card we can direct bill and have the insurer pay you. This requires you to pay for your service in full prior to the submission.
