Scar tissue massage

Home / Referrals / Refer a Patient / Scar tissue massage
Surgery and/or radiation treatments can result in movement restrictions and scar adhesions. Once your condition is stable it is important to address these restrictions at an early stage when the tissues are more susceptible to change. Massage therapy is an integral part of restoring movement post-operatively and helping to relieve scar adhesion.

Who will benefit?

Post-surgical conditions with residual scar tissue or restriction of motion. Frozen shoulder syndrome, repetitive strain injuries such as chronic rotator cuff strains, tennis and golfer’s elbow.
